Personal celebrations often rely on excess; this four-day itinerary around greater Copenhagen relies on access and everything it brings.
Day 1: The Danish countryside

Kongsdal holds 12 newly renovated guest rooms.
The experience begins at Kongsdal Estate, a manor dating to the 12th century. The afternoon is spent on the grounds with the estate’s owner, Martin, for a walk-up hunt followed by clay pigeon shooting. The day transitions into the kitchen, where guests join Mark Lundgaard—Head Chef of the two-Michelin-starred Kong Hans Kælder—to prepare a dinner centered on the day’s harvest. It is a practical introduction to the Danish relationship with the land.
Day 2: Match race, Niels Bohr & Jægersborggade

Let’s get physical. Day two is match race day.
The second day explores the intersection of physical performance and intellectual history. Guests spend the morning match racing on the Sound alongside Olympic medalists before shifting to a private exploration of the life of physicist Niels Bohr. Access to private archives and specialized scholars provides a narrative of Danish innovation that exists outside the public record. The evening is spent in Jægersborggade, moving through a curated progression of courses at three distinct Bib Gourmand restaurants.
Day 3: Danish wildlife & Food experience

Day 3 boasts a delicious culinary encounter with the Danish outdoors.
On the third day, the focus shifts to the Isefjord coast. A morning of fishing with Gordon P. Henriksen is followed by a lunch prepared over an open fire at a secluded log cabin. This simplicity precedes an evening of high-velocity gastronomy in the capital. Led by a prominent chef and sommelier, the group moves through the city’s culinary infrastructure—visiting supplier warehouses and test kitchens—to meet the individuals who sustain Denmark’s global reputation for food.
Day 4: Sauna and the city

City sauna with a view.
The final morning is dedicated to the local ritual of the harbor. A professional Sauna Master guides the group through the transition between a private sauna and the cold seawater. The journey concludes at Kødbyens Fiskebar for a lunch of regional seafood, marking a final, clear connection to the North Sea.
